LORENTZ Well Measurement Unit

The LORENTZ Well Measurement Unit (WMU) is a portable survey instrument designed for measuring liquid levels, well depth and liquid temperature in landfill wells. It provides the key measurements required to assess well conditions and correctly specify pumping equipment prior to installation.

Using a submersible absolute pressure sensor, the WMU provides real-time digital measurement of liquid depth above the sensor and liquid temperature. The reinforced deployment cable incorporates depth markers, allowing measurement of depth to liquid and total well depth and enabling calculation of the available static head. With a unique combination of water pressure over sensor and temperature output the Well Measurement Unit is ideal for leachate monitoring within active and closed landfills

Designed for demanding field use, the system features an IP68 stainless steel sensor, protected deployment cable and portable reel with integrated display. The metric version provides a 60 m cable marked at 1 m intervals and a maximum liquid-level measurement range of 20 m.
