Our business launched in 2020 (previously t/a Van Walt Ireland Ltd) with the ambition to improve the availability and support for high quality environmental instrumentation in Ireland and Northern Ireland. Beyond equipment sales we provide a range of services to further support our customers throughout the products lifetime. Supporting services include routine servicing, equipment calibration, technical advice and, when it all goes wrong, we repair equipment!

Our service engineers are manufacturer trained and have the necessary tools and expertise to service, calibrate and repair your instrumentation.

Team

John Moag

Managing Director

As Managing Director John is responsible for overseeing daily business operations at Flux Enviro. With a background in environmental consultancy and civil engineering John has extensive experience of water, soil and gas assessments. He is passionate about collecting high quality field monitoring data and understands the important role this plays in project delivery.

If you are seeking technical support regarding equipment selection, calibration procedures, automated pumping systems and remote monitoring solutions John will be your principal point of contact.

But it's not all work...! In his spare time you may find John exploring our countryside (particularly peatlands) with his cocker spaniel, fishing on the west coast of Ireland throughout the hours of darkness, or in the workshop restoring 80s & 90s Volkswagens.

Andrew Moag

Director

With over thirty years industry experience holding roles as an environmental consultant, regulator and professional trainer Andrew has vast experience of hydrometric monitoring, site investigation and waste management compliance. As Director at Flux, Andrew's core responsibilities are business development and commercial management of business activities. Andrew is an experienced environmental trainer and, alongside Flux, manages Environmental Training Solutions, the leading supplier of professional training services in Ireland.

Outside of work Andrew is responsible for looking after a pack of energetic cocker spaniels which accompany site visits, on occasion! Andrew is also a passionate woodworker and spends many weekends creating furniture and ornate boxes.

Jo-Anne Aylward

Office Manager

Jo-Anne Aylward plays a pivotal role in the smooth operation of the Flux Enviro office. With exceptional organizational skills and a keen eye for detail, she oversees administrative tasks, coordinates team activities, and ensures efficient communication across departments. Jo-Anne’s dedication to maintaining a productive and positive work environment makes her an invaluable part of the team. Her proactive approach supports Flux's commitment to delivering outstanding service to clients.

Originally hailing from South Africa, Jo-Anne is passionate about all things SA. If you're greeted with 'G'day Flux Enviro' you're speaking with Jo-Anne! In her spare time Jo-Anne enjoys spending time with family and exploring her new homeland in Northern Ireland.
