Geosorb Screened Assembly

The Geotech GeoSorb Screened Assembly is a reusable stainless steel cage designed for the passive recovery of free-phase hydrocarbons from groundwater monitoring and remediation wells.

Used with GeoSorb absorbent socks, the assembly is lowered into the well and positioned across the free-product layer. The selective absorbent captures hydrocarbons while minimising the uptake of water, providing a simple, low-maintenance solution for passive product recovery.

Manufactured from perforated 304 stainless steel, the screened assembly protects and supports the absorbent sock during deployment and retrieval. An integral ballast weight helps maintain correct submergence, while the FEP-coated stainless steel hanger provides a secure attachment point for suspension cable or cord.
