Barometric Pressure & Temperature Data Logger

The Seametrics BaroSCOUT 2X is a compact, high-accuracy barometric pressure and temperature logger designed for atmospheric pressure monitoring and barometric compensation of absolute water level sensors.

Designed as the ideal companion to the LevelSCOUT 2X, the BaroSCOUT 2X records changes in atmospheric pressure, allowing absolute water level measurements to be accurately compensated without the need for vented cables, desiccant tubes or bellows.

Housed in rugged 316 stainless steel, the BaroSCOUT 2X incorporates an integrated datalogger with capacity for up to 100,000 records. A replaceable battery and low-power design make it particularly suitable for long-term groundwater, surface water and environmental monitoring programmes.

The BaroSCOUT 2X can operate as a standalone logger or integrate with telemetry and monitoring systems using Modbus RTU RS485 or SDI-12 communications. Data configuration, download and barometric compensation are handled using Seametrics Aqua4Plus 2.0 software.
