Photometer reagents

YSI photometer reagents are designed for use with YSI portable photometers to provide accurate, repeatable water quality analysis across a wide range of parameters. Reagents are added to the water sample according to the specified test method, producing a colour reaction that is measured by the photometer to determine the concentration of the selected parameter.

A wide range of replacement reagents are available for parameters including chlorine, ammonia, nitrate, nitrite, phosphate, iron, manganese, alkalinity, hardness, fluoride, copper, potassium, sulphate and pH, with the exact reagent and test procedure depending on the parameter being measured.
