Peat or Utility Probe

The peat probe is commonly used to quantify peat deposit depths on blanket, raised and fen sites. These probes are also suitable for similar studies in soft ground condition and for services/utility surveys due to the non-conductive fibreglass construction.

The peat probe (1.2m) comprises the probe handle and spiked probe. Extension pieces (94cm) are added to reach the required depth.
