IMKO SONO MIX & VARIO

Serviced by Flux Purchase

The IMKO SONO-MIX is a high-precision moisture sensor specifically developed for continuous moisture measurement in concrete mixers. Using patented TRIME® Time Domain Reflectometry (TDR) technology, the SONO-MIX provides accurate, real-time moisture measurement to optimise water dosing, improve mix consistency, and enhance concrete quality.

Designed for ready-mix, precast, and concrete production facilities, the SONO-MIX delivers long-term measurement stability without routine recalibration, even in highly abrasive mixing environments.

Accurate Moisture Control

Installed directly within the mixer, the SONO-MIX continuously measures moisture throughout the mixing process, allowing operators to accurately control the water-to-cement ratio and maintain consistent product quality.

The sensor is suitable for installation in:

  • Twin-shaft mixers

  • Planetary mixers

  • Intensive mixers

  • Single-shaft mixers

  • Ribbon blenders

  • Conveyor and screw conveyor systems

Built for Harsh Environments

Manufactured with a stainless steel body and a highly wear-resistant carbide and ceramic sensor head, the SONO-MIX is engineered to withstand continuous abrasion from aggregates while maintaining measurement accuracy. Automatic compensation for sensor wear eliminates the need for frequent recalibration, reducing maintenance and downtime.
