Gill MaxiMet GMX500

Gill MaxiMet GMX500

The Gill MaxiMet GMX500 is a compact, low-power weather station combining ultrasonic wind speed and direction measurement with air temperature, relative humidity and barometric pressure in a single instrument. With no moving parts, the GMX500 provides a robust, low-maintenance solution for applications requiring reliable meteorological data from a compact sensor package.

Designed for fixed and remote installations, the GMX500 is particularly suited to environmental monitoring, hydrology, agriculture, research and remote monitoring networks. Its integrated design simplifies installation compared with conventional multi-sensor weather stations, while low power consumption and a range of digital communication options make it well suited to integration with data loggers and telemetry systems.

The GMX500 measures wind speed, wind direction, air temperature, relative humidity and barometric pressure, with additional calculated meteorological parameters available from the instrument.
